Refund Policy
Longship Industries builds custom PC systems and sells components with care and precision. Because each system is tailored to customer specifications, refunds are limited and subject to the terms below.
Custom PC Builds – Refund Eligibility
Parts NOT yet ordered - Full refund available
Parts ordered but build NOT started - Refund minus up to 20% sourcing fee
Build / assembly has started - Deposit is non-refundable
Completed system / delivered - Refunds not available (custom build)
Custom PC builds are non-returnable and non-refundable once assembly begins. Labor and time invested are part of the total cost of production.
PC Parts & Components
Unopened and unused - Refund within 14 days (restocking fee may apply)
Opened or installed - No refund unless defective
Defective on arrival - Replacement or store credit after inspection
All returns must be approved first. DO NOT send any item back without contacting us. Unauthorized returns may be rejected.
How to Request a Return or Refund
You must first contact us via email with:

Clear photos or video if there is an issue

Please allow 2–3 business days for a response.
Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be refunded:

Custom PC builds that have begun assembly

Burned-in or stress-tested hardware

Software licenses or activation keys

Services or consulting fees

Shipping charges already incurred

Any item physically damaged by customer
Refund Method
Approved refunds are issued via the same payment method used to purchase.
Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Return Shipping

Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.

Returned items must be sent in original packaging.

Insured shipping is required for high-value items.
🛠 Defective / DOA Items
If something arrives damaged or non-functional:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Provide photos / videos of the issue.

Do NOT throw away packaging — carriers may need to inspect it.

We will evaluate and determine repair, replacement, or store credit.
Restocking Fees
A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply for unopened parts or canceled orders after sourcing has begun. This covers administrative, supplier, and logistics costs.

Every refund request is reviewed fairly. We don’t hide behind fine print. We stand behind every machine we build, but time, labor, stress-testing, and custom part sourcing must be respected.
