Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Longship Industries website and all purchases made from Longship Industries (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Custom PC Builds

All PCs are built to order unless explicitly marked “In Stock / Ready to Ship.”
Build time generally ranges from 7–21 business days, depending on parts availability and burn-in testing.
Longship Industries reserves the right to substitute equivalent or better hardware if original components are unavailable.
Component lists and pricing are subject to change until a deposit is made.

2. Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable deposit may be required to begin a build.
All remaining balances must be paid in full before shipment or pickup.
We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods at our discretion.

3. Cancellation Policy

Before parts are ordered - No fee

After parts are ordered - Up to 20% of total cost

After build/assembly begins - Deposit is forfeited

If build labor or testing has begun, refunds may not be available. Each case will be reviewed individually.

4. Shipping

All shipments include tracking and may include insurance.
Damage during shipment must be reported within 48 hours with clear photo evidence.
Longship Industries is not responsible for shipping delays, carrier errors, or stolen packages after delivery.

5. Warranty

All manufacturer warranties apply for new components.
Longship Industries provides a 30-day workmanship warranty covering:
- Assembly defects
- Build errors
- Miswired or loose components
Overclocking, BIOS modification, physical damage, or third-party interference voids all warranty coverage.
Software and operating system issues are not covered under hardware warranty.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Custom PC builds are not eligible for full return, as they are built to customer specifications.
Individual parts may only be returned if unused and unopened within 14 days, subject to a restocking fee.
Any opened or installed items are ineligible for return unless found defective.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

Provide accurate contact and shipping information.
Read product descriptions thoroughly before purchase.
Use systems responsibly and maintain adequate airflow & environment.
Contact Longship Industries before attempting any repair or modification.

8. Liability Limitations

Longship Industries is not liable for:

Game performance or expected FPS benchmarks
Software incompatibility
Loss of data
Damage caused by user modifications
Improper installation of third-party hardware or software

Under no circumstances shall Longship Industries be liable for damages exceeding the original purchase price.

9. Use of Website

You agree not to:

Scrape, copy, or exploit website data without permission
Use our content or images for unauthorized commercial purposes
Disrupt or attempt to breach site security

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access at any time.

10. Privacy

All customer information is handled in compliance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as necessary to process payments or ship orders.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee, USA.
Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Putnam County, TN, unless otherwise required by law.
